The DesBarres Manor Inn restaurant creates renowned contemporary Canadian cuisine with an East Coast flair using a network of Nova Scotia food suppliers and herbs and vegetables from our organic garden. Named Nova Scotia's Cuisine of the Year, DesBarres Manor Inn's daily seasonal menus are matched perfectly with wines from the Manor's Wine Spectator award winning wine cellar. The romantic fireside dining room is intimate and relaxed or walk through the French doors for a quiet meal on the Grand Deck overlooking our six acres of landscaped grounds and the Chef's garden. After dinner, retreat to the Parlour room for a glass of port. Rare Bird Pub & Eatery – Nova Scotia’s Authentic Oceanfront Pub & Restaurant

Chedabucto Bay Brewing Company – Authentic Seacoast Ales

Guysborough the home to the oldest commercial brewery in Atlantic Canada, begun by Nicholas Denys in 1659. Today that spirit continues with the Chedabucto Bay Brewing Company in the Rare Bird Pub & Eatery. Using freshly ground barley, malt and hops and deep artesian well water, the Chedabucto Bay Brewing Company makes three distinct ales that celebrate Nova Scotia's oldest brewing tradition. Paired with Greg's fish & chips, the Rare Bird Pub and Chedabucto Bay Brewing Company are one of the best places to enjoy a lunch by the sea in Nova Scotia.

Osprey Shores Golf Resort – Light Fare at Mussel Cove

The Osprey Shores Resort restaurant in the historic Clubhouse building is the perfect spot to enjoy some light fare and a beverage looking over the 9th green and scenic Mussel Cove. Once owned by Lieutenant-Governor James Chadwick Tory, the Osprey Shores Clubhouse is the essence of the simple, authentic friendliness of Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore, with open pine timbers and rustic seacoast charm. Osprey Shores hosts special events & tournaments throughout the year. The second story features a 100 seat event facility with a soaring 30 foot sky lit ceiling and fabulous views overlooking Cutler Cove and the Guysborough Harbour islands.
