Full Steam Ahead for Rare Bird Craft Beer at the NSLC

The Authentic Seacoast Brewing Co. will be growing the presence of Atlantic Canada’s oldest brewing tradition at the NSLC when its Rare Bird Craft Beer Full Steam Stout launches in 660 ml bottles in the Single Serve Beer section in 35 NSLC stores on February 7th.

The Authentic Seacoast Brewing Co. launched its Rare Bird Craft Beer Pale Ale at the NSLC in November and the response has been tremendous. “We’re hearing from some stores that they sell out of our Rare Bird Pale Ale within hours of it being on the shelves,” said Glynn Williams, Proprietor. “We’re excited to bring our Rare Bird Craft Beer Full Steam Stout to the NSLC during what is one of the coldest winters in memory. It’s a brew that will warm the cockles.”

The Rare Bird Craft Beer Full Steam Stout is hearty brew built for Nova Scotia’s Authentic Seacoast. Freshly roasted certified organic, fair trade Full Steam Coffee is added to a nicely hopped East Coast Stout in the brewing process, creating a richly flavoured, creamy coffee stout with notes of licorice, chocolate and roasted malt while capturing the unique seacoast spirit of the Maritimes.

The Authentic Seacoast Brewing Co. currently offers three Rare Bird Craft Beer brews, Rare Bird Pale Ale, Full Steam Stout and Pumpkin Ale. Rare Bird Pumpkin Ale is available by the bottle in Halifax at Premier Wine & Spirits, Bishop’s Cellar and Harvest Wines & Spirits. It is also available on tap at Stillwell Beer Bar.
