Nova Scotia Getaway Contest Celebrates the Authentic
Seacoast 101

The Authentic Seacoast™ Properties have compiled a list of more than 101 things to do on Nova Scotia’s Authentic Seacoast and now they want to know where and why people love to play on Chedabucto Bay and have launched the Authentic Seacoast Getaway Contest inviting people to share their experiences along the shores of the largest bay on the Atlantic Coast.

The Authentic Seacoast 101 highlights more than 101 things to do along the 600 kilometres of shoreline that stretch from the southern shores of Cape Breton Island to the easternmost point of mainland Nova Scotia. From secluded coves and beaches, to historic sites, coastal hiking and cycling trails, festivals and events, back roads and fishing wharves, the Authentic Seacoast 101 defines Chedabucto Bay as a major travel and getaway destination in Nova Scotia.

“There are so many places and activities we have included on the Authentic Seacoast 101,” said General Manager Audrey Firth in announcing the seacoast getaway contest.  “Now we want to hear what others have to say about their personal experiences in the Chedabucto Bay region through this contest.”

The Authentic Seacoast Getaway Contest will run until Thursday, September 18, 2008 and selected entries will be posted on the Authentic Seacoast website. The winning contestant will receive a Grand Prize of an Authentic Seacoast getaway package to Osprey Shores Golf Resort.

To learn more about the Authentic Seacoast 101 or to submit an entry in the Authentic Seacoast Getaway Contest, go to www.authenticseacoast.com and follow the play and contest links.
