Desbarres Manor Inn Honoured with Fourth Consecutive Wine Spectator Award of Excellence

The 2012 Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence have been announced and Nova Scotia's DesBarres Manor Inn has been honoured with a fourth consecutive Award of Excellence, joining other recent accolades that underline the Inn's commitment to excellence in its culinary program.

The Wine Spectator Restaurant Wine List Awards "recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wine range of wine lovers." With nearly 200 wine selections on the list, DesBarres Manor Inn offers a well-chosen selection of wines that compliment the restaurant's emphasis on modern Canadian cuisine with a Nova Scotia influence.

"Wine Spectator's continued recognition is an important part of making DesBarres Manor Inn a culinary destination on Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore," said Authentic Seacoast Company Proprietor Glynn Williams. "With more people looking for unique culinary experiences off the beaten track, this award helps food and wine lovers find their way to our beautiful part of Nova Scotia."

The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence comes on the heels of DesBarres Manor Inn being recognized by Wine Access Magazine in the Canadian Wine Annual as one of Atlantic Canada's top places to eat, drink and stay.
