Mitch McNutt Joins Authentic Seacoast Company

Guysborough, Nova Scotia – Authentic Seacoast Company Ltd. announced today that Mitch McNutt has joined the organization as Assistant General Manager, Hospitality and Tourism Operations. The former General Manager of Fortress Louisbourg Association, where he led a diverse group of 75 employees, over 300 volunteers and almost 700 members, McNutt is a seasoned manager with a proven track record of operational excellence.

“Having worked with Mitch for several years while he led Fortress of Louisbourg Association, a valued partner with Parks Canada in our collaboration at Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, we are absolutely delighted that he has chosen to join our growing organization,” said Authentic Seacoast Company President Glynn Williams. “Mitch will be responsible for taking our hospitality and tourism operations to the next level of service delivery and guest experience as we continue to realize our vision of making the Authentic Seacoast one of Canada’s leading travel destinations.”

“Mitch brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team,” said John Stapleton, Authentic Seacoast Company, General Manager. “As a senior manager at Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, one of Canada’s tourism icons, and as a Red Seal chef, Mitch is uniquely positioned to build upon what we’ve accomplished at the Authentic Seacoast over the past decade.”

McNutt is a graduate of both Saint Francis Xavier University and Saint Mary’s University.
